Warranty

We're Here to Help

We're sorry you've encountered an issue with your Strider Bike. We understand how important it is for your kiddo to be able to ride. We’re here to make the warranty process as quick and simple as possible. Because a kids’ adventures should only be paused for bedtime!

Understanding Your Limited Warranty for the United States

Every genuine Strider bike and accessory is covered by a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This means Strider Sports International, Inc. ("Strider" or "we") will replace or repair any bike, accessory, or part that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship within two years of the original purchase date or delivery date (if later than the date of purchase). This warranty is limited to the original, end-user purchaser in the United States.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear — like grips with a few miles on them, pedals with battle scars, or scuffed parts from years of little kid love.
  • Damage caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or storage — like using the wrong tool, or leaving it out in a monsoon.
  • Accidents, crashes, or abuse — like a surprise run-in with a curb, an over-excited sibling, or getting left in the driveway after you told your kid three times — three times — to put it away.
  • Modifications to the bike or use with non-Strider parts. While we love a good DIY project, our warranty doesn't cover bikes that have been turned into rocket ships or lawn mowers.
  • Purchases from unauthorized sellers - Because Strider cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to products that were purchased from Strider or a Strider authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Strider reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites. If you have any questions about whether a seller is authorized, call us at (605) 342-0266.

Finding Production Date and Serial Number

To process your claim quickly, we'll need your bike's production date and serial number. This information helps us verify your purchase and identify the exact parts you need. You can find the serial number and production date on a sticker located on the bottom of the bike's frame.

On the Strider 12 Comp, the production date information will be on the bottom of the bike’s frame in between each the “diamonds” next to the seat post. Locate the circles in three of these areas. Each of these circles represents a week, month, and year with an arrow pointing at one of the numbers to indicate the production date.

Submit Your Claim

Filing a warranty claim is easy! Follow these steps to get started:
