Register your 2-, 3-, or 4-year-olds to race on their 12” Strider Bike! This will be a sprint race in balance mode where intrepid toddlers compete in heat and main races to see who will cross the finish line first. Kids under 2 years old are welcome to join and will race in the two-year-old category.
These sprint races are for our larger 14x bikes only! Register your 3- or 4-year-olds to race in balance mode (no pedals) and compete in heat and main races.
This new event brings a whole new style of race to life. Introducing: The Strider Baby Cross! This one-of-a-kind staged race introduces babies aged 18-months-old and younger to the race scene by encouraging them to stand, run, rock, and stride to the finish line. The only requirement to enter is that your baby must be walking. Register them today to be a part of history and for the endless adorable photos and videos you’ll take!

Strider Cup Races are a one-of-a-kind experience where every kid feels like a champion. These official races are held across the U.S. and around the world, bringing families together to cheer on their little ones as they build confidence and sportsmanship in a high-energy, supportive environment.
Only Strider-branded bikes are allowed since Strider Cup is a celebration of our Strider Community.
2-year old sprint race is the Strider 12" Bike only.
3- and 4-year- old sprint races are for either 12" Bikes or a Strider 14x (in balance mode)
Team Strider organizes races for children of all skill levels. The 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old sprint races are “striding” only, no pedaling.
Every racer must check in at packet pick up and go through tech inspection (remember to bring your racer, their Strider Bike, and helmet). Pro Tip: It speeds up the process if you have your electronic or printed Eventbrite tickets with you, too.
Although this process takes about 15 minutes, the lines can get long. So, please plan ahead! It’s best to check in at least 1 hour before your race starts.
Unfortunately, if a racer is not at the starting line when their heat and/or main starts we will start without them.
The Box shares parking with three nearby hotels. There are abundant parking spaces available!
Each packet includes your racer's assigned number plate, all the must-know info for grown-ups, plus tons of goodies, coupons, and more!
No, once registration is closed, we cannot add more racers. Registration closes at 3:00PM MST on August 13, 2026.
Excellent question! Many families that compete in Strider Cup are new to this type of competition.
For sprint races, each age class will start with a parade lap. This lap is not part of the competition, but will give the children a chance to get familiar with the course. After the parade lap, every racer will compete in a Heat race, and then a Main event race. The Heat race is a qualifying race. Your child’s finishing position in the Heat race will determine which Main event your child competes in. Fastest finishers will go into the A Main, next fastest into the B Main, and so on, all the way down to G or H Mains. The Main Event races are run in order from slowest to fastest (G to A). If your child is in a lower Main event and they win, they will transfer to the next fastest Main event. If they win again, they transfer again. The A Main is the final race for the Championship.
Racers love to see crowds supporting them from the sidelines. We encourage you to cheer loud and proud, wave pompoms, and clang cowbells. Stop by the on-site Strider Cheer Station on race day and make your own signs — it's all part of the fun!
